  • Is There Any Downtime?

    Because the microneedles will cause small damages to your skin to induce collagen stimulation, your face may be red and slightly inflamed for up to 48 hours. You may also want to avoid makeup and excess sun exposure for the first 24-48 hours. Your practitioners at SKIN MD will provide you with a detailed aftercare plan.


  • How Many Treatments Will I Need?

    Depending on the issue and goals you have, multiple treatments may be needed. Skin MD will be able to provide you with a detailed answer once we meet and can determine your individual needs. A microneedling treatment can be performed every 4-6 weeks. This gives the collagen enough time to produce.
