Cellulite is a complex, multi-factorial problem. One of the main causes is the network of fibrous bands that run from the skin through the fat to the muscle below. As these bands tighten and pull the skin downward, pockets of fat push upward against the surface, creating the dimpled, uneven texture we recognize as cellulite.   • Is there any downtime after an Emtone treatment?

    A non-ablative laser is able to target and resurface the skin without physical injury to the skin. An even distribution of thermal energy is placed onto the dermis of the skin, but spares the outermost layer of the skin

  • How long does an EmTone treatment take, and how many sessions will I need?

    Most patients undergo 4 treatments, scheduled once or twice a week, with an individual plan designed at your first visit. Each session typically takes about 20 minutes, depending on the area being treated.

  • How fast will I see results, and is there any downtime?

    Some patients report improvements after a single session, with results typically continuing to improve over the following few months. There's no downtime, so you can resume normal activity immediately after treatment.

  • What does an EmTone treatment feel like?

    Most people describe it as similar to a hot stone massage with intense mechanical vibrations, and it's performed while you lie down in a relaxing position.
